- Nycole has always had a love for beauty and fashion. Her interest in hairstyling goes back to her days as a child when she would go to the salon with her mother and watch in awe as the hairstylists worked their magic. She quickly developed a desire to become a stylist herself, with the express purpose of helping people feel better about how they looked. In her teen years Nycole’s mother was diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo chemotherapy, which caused her to lose her hair. Nycole could feel the despair and embarrassment that her mother was enduring and began styling her mother’s hair herself. Since that time, Nycole has been doing hair extensions especially for people who are dealing with Hair loss. As she grew up, Nycole realized that she also had a tremendous talent for dance. As a teenager, Nycole studied Ballet and by age 18 was traveling abroad dancing professionally with ballet companies both in Paris and in India. Although she thoroughly enjoyed dancing, Nycole’s desire to do hair soon became a longing., She was faced with the difficult choice of either continuing on in the world of dance or risking everything in order to do hair. Nycole, against all odds, chose the latter. She began taking on a small clientele of her own, doing basic styles and techniques in order to better her skills. Hairstylists that she had met along the way would allow her to work in their salons, sharing different tricks of the trade so that she could gain a greater insight into the world of doing hair. Nycole’s intrigue with the art of hairstyling quickly grew into an obsession as she would spend hours researching different styling techniques, proper hair care for various hair textures and the use of natural products. Nycole also developed a keen artistic eye by doing photography for her husband’s business. By taking pictures, she was able to see and understand how a hairstyle could make or break a photo, and as such she can better articulate what a photographer is asking her to create while on set. Nycole’s incredible talent has caught the eyes of many celebrities, and well known stylists who have asked her to assist them with big events. Nycole placed in the top 5 at the 2011 Long Beach Hair Show, of which was her very first competition. With all of this amazing talent, Nycole has never lost sight of what is most important; her family, her friends and her faith in God. She firmly believes that Beauty starts from within, and has dedicated her life to bringing real beauty to the surface.
